This is the decorated version of the Cover on Cover, an optional, extra covering that fits Hobonichi Techo covers to protect them from wear and tear while instantly giving solid-color covers a fresh new look. (Not for use directly on book.)

This Cover on Cover features the illustration of two schoolchildren playing tamaire, a game in which children throw as many balls as they can within a certain amount of time into a tall net. The balls rolling around the ground make up a polka-dot pattern across the cover, and give the illustration a charming design.
